Quality and Excellence Standards
In line with its value of ‘Excellence’ TECOM Investments fosters an organisational culture of business excellence. Across TECOM, leaders encourage a culture of quality and excellence right from the level of the CEO, cascading down to frontline managers. The organisation’s efforts in this area have been recognised through a number of Awards, international quality and environmental certifications.
In October 2005 TECOM Investments received the ISO 9001 certification. As part of the ISO requirements we have two external audits, two internal audits yearly and management review meetings.
TECOM Investments also received the ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS18001:2007 certifications in 2007.
Since its inception, TECOM Investments has been an active nominee in excellence awards. TECOM participated in the Dubai Government Excellence Programme (DGEP) in 2004 and then continued its journey in the Dubai Holding Excellence Award (DHEA) launched in 2006.
The Dubai Holding Excellence Award is a group programme based on the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) Criteria for Performance Excellence. The scope of this award covers all Dubai Holding Entities and subsidiaries.
