Dubai Police Honours Dubai Media City and Dubai Internet City
Awards Aimed to Support Institutional Performance of National Companies
Dubai: 23 December, 2009 - Dubai Media City (DMC), the region’s leading media hub, and Dubai Internet City (DIC), one of the largest managed ICT clusters in the world, both members of TECOM Investments, have been honoured by Dubai Police for their support of strategic national goals, and for implementing efficient institutional partnerships to benefit the community.
The honour comes as part of Dubai Police’s strategy to support institutional performance of national companies.

Malek Sultan Al Malek, Executive Director, DIC, and Mohammed Abdullah, Executive Director, DMC, received the awards from Major General Khamis Mattar Al Mazeina, Deputy Commander General of Dubai Police, in a ceremony held on 22 December at the Dubai Officers’ Club.
Senior officials from government and private sector organizations as well as other special invitees attended the ceremony.

DIC and DMC have rapidly evolved over the years through offering business-friendly regulatory frameworks and a state-of-the-art infrastructure to become the most sought-after destinations in their respective industries. The two pioneering clusters have played a major role in promoting Dubai and the UAE as a regional hub for the international media and ICT companies. |
