H.E. Ahmad Bin Byat is considered one of the most well known corporate leaders in Dubai; providing leadership and strategic direction to several key economic initiatives that drive forward Dubai’s knowledge-based economy.  As an integral member of high level executive teams, his decisions have made a strong impact on the economic growth of the emirate of Dubai.  

Recently appointed as the CEO of Dubai Holding, H. E. Bin Byat occupies several high-ranking directorial positions in Dubai including Director General of the Dubai Technology and Media Free Zone Authority, Executive Chairman of TECOM Investments, Executive Chairman of du - the Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company, Executive Chairman of Dubai Real Estate Corporation, a member of the board of trustees for Zayed University and member of the Board of Trustees for Dubai School of Government.

He has also previously held a number of prestigious positions including Secretary General of the Executive Council of Dubai Government, President of Dubai Government Excellence Programme and Director General of the Dubai Education Council.

A high achieving professional, H.E. Bin Byat has left an indelible mark on positions that he has held right from the early part of his career, including key managerial positions with Etisalat.
